I know how stressful is the process of losing weight. To look at ourselves in the mirror and not be happy with our looks is one of the most depressing things to face. That is why I have written this article to help people going through that difficult situation.

Being overweight is to have more body fat than what is considered normal for our age or build.
We have to love ourselves and loving ourselves means also keeping our minds and body healthy. The process of losing weight is not easy at all and we have to be strong and consistent in that journey.
Remember to do it for yourself and not to please somebody else.
Weight Loss Process
First of all, to lose weight we must have discipline and consistency. I know that is a hard process and we can get discouraged easily, but as with everything in life we have to continue going on and have a routine for us to get fast results.
I believe that when we set out to do something and we fight for that, we get it always with hard work and at the end of the day we will always see the results.
Even though I do not have obesity but I have tried to lose weight because it has been a time in my life were I did not feel comfortable with my weight.
I have loved ones who have overweight and I have seen how they fight and get desperate to lose weight.

They are many wicked people out there with no empathy that enjoy making comments to make others feel bad. I know how difficult is to avoid ignoring them and feeling bad. But remember always that what somebody says about you is not true. That just reflects what they have inside.
Remember that every change we make in our lives has to be because we want and we decided to do so, not because somebody else is happy with that.

We have to know when we decide to go through the losing weight journey not only to have a curvy, fit and thin body and to be happier with ourselves but also to have a better lifestyle, to have a more healthy body and mind.

1. Put in your mind that you can do it
this is something you can do, if somebody else has done it you can also when you start this process ignore people who want to discourage you or say that they do not see any result or that you seem to have more weight. Just keep going they are many people who enjoy seeing people sad.
you can start with some walking and little by little you can improve it with the gym or some running. Is more important to do at least a little bit than not do at all. No need to start with the more extreme sport.
3. Try to eat more time during the day but less portion:
Keep track of what you eat. Something that works for me is that instead of eating 2 or 3 times and eating too much, I try to eat around 5 times per day. That way I can choose more from what I eat and I can easily eat a banana or an apple, but when we wait till we are so hungry to eat then we feel like eating everything.
4. Drink plenty of water:
Drinking water has many benefits and one of them is that it helps to lose weight.

- Makes you feel full so it helps you to eat less
- Helps you burn more calories
- Removes water from your body
5. Eat more vegetables:
Years ago when I wanted to lose weight was harder because I read everywhere that I needed to eat veggies and to be honest that is not my favorite food. But then I found a way to enjoy them while I eat them.
Instead of cooking the vegetables alone I cook them with some sauce, fish or meat and to be honest, now I enjoy eating them and I include them in my daily meals.
Try to find the fruits you like more, fish, and meat, and cook them in olive oil, let’s make this process enjoyable.
I also eat something I like so much at least one or two times per month normally during the day time and then I go for a walk. Cuz I do not want to deprive myself of my favorite food and feel the process is torture.
6. Try Lose Weight Supplements
You can also try to find good weight loss supplements that can help you in that process. We are in a modern century and scientists have been trying to find ways that help in the weight loss process.
They are many products out there that work to make that process easier.
7. Low carbohydrates and sugar
Eat less food that contains carbohydrates:
- Fried meat
- French fries

Try to avoid alcohol as much as you can, because it slows the fat-burning process and makes you feel more hungry.
I do not deprive myself of drinking a glass of wine or a beer but I do it once in a while to get the fastest results.
10. Don’t eat too much before going to sleep
Try to have dinner a few hours before you go to sleep if you are hungry before going to bed try to eat something light like salad, drink some water, or low-fat milk or yogurt.
11. Increase cardio
Cardio is one of the best ways to lose weight fast, it helps you burn so many calories, and has more benefits like keeping your heart healthy and it helps to avoid a heart attack.
